My Journal

As I arrived from the plane I saw the beautiful state of North Carolina! The 50 degree Fahrenheit weather ,which is typical for this time of year, felt fantastic having come from New York City. While I was waiting on line for a taxi, I got a call from Uncle David. He told me that I should definitely drive over to Hight Point to see all the show rooms and factories where most of American furniture is made.
Seven minutes later the man assisted me into the taxi, "Could you please drop me off at High Point to see all the furniture markets ," I said to him.
"Sure," He answered. "I've been up there, it's great! The best part was the huge dresser!"
"Cool. What does it look like?"
"Well, its very tall, around 38 feet, and it has a pair of large sock hanging out from one of the drawers."
"That's amazing, I've never seen anything like that!"
"I could take you there if you want."
"That would be great! Thank you so much!"
"No problem."
Then the conversation stopped, and I started to look out the window to see all the different
types of people. I saw white people and some African Americans. I saw Asians and Native Americans. As I was observing the people I saw the outstanding scenery. We passed the Appilachian mountains and the others around it. Also the fresh green grass and the clear blue sky!
When I got to my destination I payed the driver and ran over to see "The World's Largest Goddared Block Front Chest" also known as the "huge dresser!" I thought it was amazing!
My trip to North Carolina was lovely! I saw many interesting sights and enjoyed seeing many people. The weather was nice and I hope I will be able to journey back to North Carolina sometime soon!
